This year, we’ll be bringing even more practical insight and innovation to the table with live demos, “Hay Bale Chats”, and a chance to connect directly with our team throughout the event. We look forward to meeting you there!
What is Groundswell?

For those new to the event, Groundswell is a unique, farmer-led festival that’s become a cornerstone of the UK’s regenerative agriculture movement. Founded by the Cherry family on their mixed farm, the event was born out of a desire to explore soil health, sustainable techniques, and profitable, nature-friendly farming.
Now in its tenth year, the festival offers an immersive mix of talks, workshops, demos and open dialogue. You’ll hear from leading international experts, experienced farmers, policy makers, and AgTech innovators, all focused on conservation agriculture and regenerative practices like no-till farming, cover cropping, and reintegrating livestock.
For more information about the event, see here.
Why Attend?

While Groundswell proudly remains “by farmers, for farmers,” its rapid growth, with nearly 8,000 delegates attending last year, has turned it into a key event for a much wider audience, from food system changemakers to environmental professionals and anyone passionate about the future of land and nature. Its popularity reflects a growing urgency across the farming sector, and beyond, to find nature-based solutions that are resilient, profitable, and environmentally sound.
At Land App, we’re proud to be part of this movement, supporting farmers, advisors, landowners and estates with practical tools to plan and deliver nature-positive change. Therefore, Groundswell brings together the kind of open, collaborative community we believe is essential for transforming land use at scale.
What We’re Doing and Where to Find Us

This year, you’ll find us at Stand PF F27, right in the heart of the festival. Across the two days, we’ll be offering:
5-Minute Demos
We’ll be running a rolling series of short, practical demos tailored to all user levels, showcasing some of Land App’s most powerful features. Here’s a sample of some of the features you could get hands-on with:
- For Non-Land App Users: See how easy it is to import your Single Business Identifier (SBI) data into Land App, getting you started quickly with your farm’s digital twin.
- For Free Land App Users: Get an essential overview of Land App Mobile, our powerful tool for use in the field, and discover how to generate valuable Data Layer Reports.
- For Standard Land App Subscribers: Dive deeper into the capabilities of Land App Mobile, learn about efficient Team Management features, and explore how to utilise the Portfolio function for your projects.
Hay Bale Chats
Beyond the demos, we’re also getting involved in some big-picture conversations. Join us at the tent for a relaxed, thought-provoking series of “Hay Bale Chats” exploring some of the critical themes shaping the future of land management. Grab a drink, bring your questions, and join the conversation!

If You Can’t Make It

We’d love to see you at Groundswell this year, but if you can’t make it to Hertfordshire, don’t worry, there are still ample opportunities to learn and connect with us.
Firstly, we’ll be recording and sharing Wednesday’s “Hay Bale Chats” on our YouTube channel, so you won’t miss out on those insightful discussions.
Secondly, we’ll be hosting a free online webinar on Friday, July 18th, at noon for anyone looking to map and design regenerative agriculture opportunities on their land. Whether you’re new to regenerative practices or looking for new tools, we’ll cover essential, free-to-use Land App functions with a chance to ask our account managers your questions live.
In the meantime, if you want to dive deeper into regenerative agriculture, explore 6 ways Land App can help with your regenerative land management and the financial benefits of regenerative agriculture for farmers.
