Pricing Update - October 2023
This October 1st our pricing is changing.
Over the last three years, Land App and its functions have evolved rapidly to meet the demands of a drastically changing sector. Most of the improvements we have released have been provided free of charge as we have sought to support the sector during this unique transition period. However, we need a more sustainable model to ensure we can continue to provide a free version of our software that can evolve in alignment with the fast-changing policy landscape.

Changes to the Free Subscription
We are introducing the following changes to our Free subscription with effect from 1st October 2023.
- A maximum of 4 maps on your dashboard at any one time
- Only viewer permission for collaborators invited to your maps
- No priority live chat support
If you wish to have continued access to this functionality, you can upgrade to our new Standard subscription. The price for the Standard subscription is £10 per person per month excluding VAT.

The Standard subscription is designed to help teams of rural professionals work together and reduce costs. In addition to continued access to unlimited maps, editor permission for collaborators and live chat support, the Standard subscription will also offer you and your team new benefits such as:
- Land App Mobile – our dedicated mobile app for iOS and Android devices
- Team management – to organise your team and share maps more easily
- Map of maps – to visualise your whole land portfolio
- 20% discount – on all prints

Frequently Asked Questions
Our new pricing comes into effect on 1st October 2023
Pricing for these subscription tiers will be on a per-person basis, pro-rated from the day each person upgrades to the end of the billing period.
Existing customers will be automatically enrolled into the relevant subscription that is currently used by the organisation, with a majority of organisations being transferred to the “Standard Subscription” at £10 per user per month (+VAT).
Those organisations using the Integration API will be automatically enrolled on the “Professional Subscription” at £30 per user per month (+VAT).
All but the latest 4 of your maps will be archived automatically, unless you upgrade to the Standard subscription. If you remain on Free, you can move maps around from archived to the dashboard as needed, as long as you remain within the limit of 4 at any one time.
Yes, organisations can be made up of a mixture of Standard and Professional, except when the Integration API is being used – these organisations will need all users in the Professional Subscription.
Yes, discounts for referrals will be applied to each person’s individual subscription.
The total cost for your organisation’s subscription in each billing period will be calculated as the pro rata subscription price minus referral discounts for each person with an active account.
Yes, the new pricing model will allow you to purchase licenses upfront for any existing members in your organisation. Any additional members you add through the year will be billed at the end of that month, pro-rated to align with the existing annual contract. Annual Contracts will automatically receive a 10% discount.
Yes, individual users can do a month free trial. They will need to be given the credit for 1 month, and then cancel before end of 30 days. Please contact sales@thelandapp.com to arrange setting this up.
Yes – Users can upgrade themselves by following this guidance.
Yes! For every person you refer to the Land App, you get £10 credit towards your subscription. To learn how to refer users, check out this guidance.
